Everybody is dancing and celebrating the Durga Purja festival. Denis my russian friend is in red.Men and women dance separately...
Two cool guys full with the red powder which I don't remember the meaning, but it is somehow related to Durga and finally for a colourful and cheerful festival
My favorite place to be after having drunk a sip of tap water, because of stupid second of too much thirst... I'll think about it twice next time ;-)
Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai. The busiest train station in South Asia... Still it was impossible to find a seat in one of the trains :-(
Air trains are so cool! Everybody is "fighting" to get a door spot!
That was very close! You always have watch out for coming pillars and branches. A lot of fun!

This was the most amazing train ride ever! Fully packed train back to Bandra from Mumbai center, with a group of people playing traditionnal music in the back which the whole thing chaotic and enjoyable at the same time. India is the crash of humanity. My two American travel mates are also here. On my left is Nadia and the guy with the cap is Sam.

Amit my friend and me on Chowpatty beach during the finals of the Durga Puja festival, where wooden sculptured statues (around 100) where sunken in the sea. What a mess!
Dabbawallahs at work. They deliver freshly made food to business men. In the higher caste, it is a tradition to eat only freshly made pure vegetarian food prepared from people of the same caste i.e. from their wife or mother. An amazing logistic without any computer and only one error in a million! They deliver 100000 lunch boxes every day all over the city!

Ce n'est que le premier épisode d'une longue aventure.
Je suis sûre que tu vas savoir apprécier chaque aspect de ces pays. Ce voyage est long, mais je suis déjà sûre qu'il va passer trop vite pour toi, alors profite bien de chaque jour !

j'aime beaucoup les toilettes. hier c'etait l'anniversaire a basti...il a recu un nouveau livre de cuisine, et on a passe 3 heures a preparer le tout...ca a mis bcp plus longtemps que prevu, alors on a commence a mange vers 22h30...mais kesseke cetait bon....miam miam.

super wieder was von dir zu lesen! Basak hatte mir schon berichtet, dass du dir was eigefangen hast. Ich hofe du hast dich gut erholt! Ist ja der Wahnsinn was du alles erlebst! Bin ja scho ein bischen neidisch ;o) Cool das du Leute hast mit denen du durch die Lande ziehst. Ich wünsche euch weiterhin viel Spaß... und trink bitte kein Leiungswasser mehr!
Du wirst hier sehr vermisst. Wenn du zurück kommst mußt du mal wieder einen Stop in Bremen machen!

Ich sehe das ganz genauso. Hammerhart Pasqui echt geil. Du verpasst Weinachten aber mei. Schaut mor ganyz nach einer unglaublichen Lebenserfahrung aus und ich seh dass Dir die Leute auch taugen. Die Bilder sind so cool. Ich sehe dass dir hier alle "All the best" gewuenscht haben -- Wenn ich mir nun dass "2 Euro" Bild anschaue dann hast du "all the best" schon laengst gefunden.
